Blogging in 21st Century
|
|
Blogging and social networking are inextricably linked in the sense that both contain certain features and certain properties of one another. Both are aimed at creating a wide movement as far as multimedia interaction is concerned. Though it is true that blogs can be regulated and kept very private, the main purpose of them is to reach out to a number of people, to have a medium to voice your opinion.
Another similarity is that both these concepts have existed in cyber space for almost a decade now, but in the initial stages both were rather exclusive of one another. Only in the recent times have they been merged, and their similarity in motives truly recognized.
Blogging is essentially done to channel your thoughts out on to an online journal. You also want other people to read what you have written.
This way, you go about coming in touch with people from all over the world who you would not have otherwise known. Similar is the function of social networking. It is a hub where the young and the hearty flock. The chances of getting an audience at such a platform are high.
The origination of the term ‘blog’ is interesting. It was initially called a ‘weblog’ meaning a log or a diary or a journal that helps you to record your thoughts on a day to day basis. In that sense it was rather in its primitive stages and did not turn into an instrument for propaganda immediately. This term was later shortened to blog and this is when free blogging services like Blogger became extremely popular.
As mentioned earlier, blogging today is not restricted to only maintaining a journal. It has truly become a platform where various kinds of people from all walks of life, whether they have the same ideologies or not, conflate, and discuss the matters they think are important to them.
Blogging in the twenty first century has come to become an important tool for advertising for people who wish to market their products online, for politicians who wish to sell their ideologies, and reach out, to the masses.

STOP promoting other people’s products
|
|
Do you promote other people’s products and services?
Because if you do (even for the slightest bit), then you
seriously need to reconsider and rethink carefully about the
product/service you are promoting.
What I mean is this – are you compensated well enough for your
time and effort?
Because most people that I know that promote other people’s
products are not. They think that they are compensated well,
when in fact they are not.
I’m not trying to fool you here. Look, I respect you as a
marketer and as a sane human being.
=================================
Let me ask you some questions:
=================================
1. How long does the product you are currently promoting track
affiliate cookies? 60 days? That’s too short.
2. Does the product you are currently promoting offer multiple
commissions from the same product owner? (pretty sure the answer
is no)
3. Does the product you are currently promoting have an
affiliate program that is 2-tier? (bet the answer is no again)
4. When you are paid commissions via PayPal, do you pay the
PayPal fees instead of the product owner? (pretty sure it’s yes)
5. How often do you get paid by the product owner? Once every 2
weeks or monthly? That’s too slow.
6. What is the minimum affiliate payout? $50 or $100? That’s
too much.
=================================
You know what – there exists an affiliate program that does the
COMPLETE OPPOSITITE of those stated above. This affiliate program:
=================================
1. Uses LIFETIME cookies to track affiliate sales
2. Pays MULTIPLE commissions for multiple products (even though
you only promote 1 product)
3. Is a 2-TIER affiliate program (meaning when YOUR affiliates
get paid, so do you)
4. Takes care of the PayPal fees for you so that the commissions
you get is NET
5. Pays you WEEKLY
6. Doesn’t have any minimum payout. If they owe you $1, they’ll
pay.
My advice is to STOP whatever you are promoting now and checkout
this affiliate program which I think is the BEST affiliate
program out there:
PS. I know you might be skeptical about this. But at the very
least, checkout for yourself if this affiliate program does
in fact live up to its name of “the BEST affiliate program”:
4 steps to great success
|
|
===========================================================
===========================================================
The first step that you MUST do is to start believing in
yourself that you can become a successful Internet
entrepreneur.
No exception!
If you don’t believe in yourself, how the heck do you
expect others to believe in you? If you have this kind
of weak attitude, your customers, affiliates, JV partners,
team members will NOT believe in you either.
I mean, why should they believe in someone who doesn’t even
believe in himself? I certainly won’t, and I bet you won’t
either!
===========================================================
2. I want you to think ahead what you want to achieve for 2011.
What are your goals?
===========================================================
Write them down on your whiteboard so that you can see them
and be reminded of them every single day. If you don’t have
a whiteboard, write them down on a piece of paper and stick
it in your room.
I’m serious…
We need to be reminded of our goals every day. If not,
we’ll get sidetracked and spend time and do things that
are totally not related to what our ultimate goals are. When
we do this, we are wasting our precious time.
Stop that useless chat on Skype, MSN or Yahoo Messenger!
Stop checking your freaking inbox every 5 minutes.
====================================
3. Start taking Massive ACTION
====================================
Simply having a goal or goals that you want to achieve is
not enough. You need to take Massive Action.
Plan on how you are going to achieve your goals. What will
you do? What strategies will you undertake?
Don’t spend too much time planning though, because if you
do you’ll probably end up planning all day long without
actually doing! And that is a disaster because you’ll remain
where you are now come end of 2011 – still the same, old you.
Do NOT be a perfectionist who needs to have every single
little detail planned out first before taking any kind of
action.
Just do it first, and correct as well as improve as you go.
Garner the momentum and start doing first and the rest will
follow.
===============================
4. Do It TODAY!!!
===============================
Most people who have read this far will think and say to
themselves: “Yeah I agree with all of the above Welly, but
I’m very busy now, therefore I’ll just take action next week.”
…and you know what?
YES, these people will NOT take any kind of action and
continue to procrastinate forever…
If you want to learn step-by-step EXACTLY which actions to take
in your business, go here NOW:
the WRONG actions. Watch as I guide you each and every
step of the way. Never be confused again about the path
to online success.
